Well its been a while since we last posted here as we have been busy updating the site. Today we see Bleach 240 posted Subbed. The Raw Bleach 240 is up already!

We will try and get Thursdays Naruto Shippuuden posted as soon as we can, we are normally the first to post these but due to the time zone sometimes they can be a few hours late.

We are currently in the process of posting some English dubbed Bleach episodes and also updating the site with Anime reviews to help you decide what to watch.

You can see from our latest poll that some of the users of anime crunchs favorite anime series are Naruto Shippuuden Bleach One Piece Full Metal Alchemist and Ghosts. There seems to be almost 20% of votes at the moment for other. Maybe next time we have a poll for the favorite anime series we will add in more. Please take your time to vote as it will help us in knowing what anime you want on the site.

We have also noticed that on the anime chat that uses are posting bad language. Please dont do this as its not nice for the other users. We do have a few admins but they are not online all the time. Please be warned that if you use bad language that you will be banned.

Please enjoy the latest updates of Bleach 240 today and Naruto Shippuuden 129.

The latest Naruto Shippuuden episode 123 is out this week and as always here at anime crunch we aim to get this episode out to you as soon as we can. Last weeks episode was posted promptly on Thursday and we aim to do the same this week.

Well what else is happening at anime crunch. It's been just over 3 weeks since the re design of the site and we can confirm that it's gone down well. Most of the feedback that we're getting's positive which is great and please contact us via the forum to give your valued feedback. As a user and loyal visitor to anime crunch you can help out by please reporting broken videos links. The Crunch team works hard to fix these but we rely on you to report these broken anime videos.

You may like to know that most of the feedback we get are requests for anime. What we'll do is get an anime requests form created so that you can request any anime video you like watch. We are not saying that we will place any anime episodes on the site but we will look at the requests!

Well that's it for now we hope you enjoy watching the latest Naruto Shippuuden episode 123 and don't forget to check back for more updates which can be found here under latest anime. We will post another write up when Naruto Shippuuden 124 comes out or maybe when the next Bleach 234 episode is subbed next week.

The history of anime begins at the start of the 20th century, when Japanese filmmakers experimented with the animation techniques that were being explored in France, Germany, the United States, and Russia. Animation became popular in Japan as it provided an alternative format of storytelling compared to the underdeveloped live-action industry in Japan. Unlike America, where live-action shows and films have generous budgets, the live-action industry in Japan is a small market and suffered from budgeting, location, and casting restrictions. The lack of Western-looking actors, for example, made it next to impossible to shoot films set in Europe, America, or fantasy worlds that do not naturally involve Japan. The varied use of animation allowed artists to create any characters and settings. During the 1970s, there was a surge of growth in the popularity of manga which were often later animated especially those of Osamu Tezuka, who has been called a legend and the god of manga.

As a result of his work and that of other pioneers in the field, anime developed characteristics and genres that are fundamental elements of the art today. The giant robot genre (known as mecha outside Japan), for instance, took shape under Tezuka, developed under Go Nagai and others, and was revolutionized at the end of the decade by Yoshiyuki Tomino. Robot anime like Gundam and Macross became instant classics in the 80s, and the robot genre of anime is still one of the most popular in Japan and worldwide today. In the 1980s, anime was accepted in the mainstream in Japan, and experienced a boom in production (It should be noticed that, manga has significantly more mainstream exposure than anime in Japan). The mid-to-late 90s, on into the 2000s, saw an increased acceptance of anime in overseas markets.

Sometimes episodes are taken down or not available, so when this happens please help us out by pointing it out in the comments so we can replace them Due to the massive influx of people using the chatbox, certain rules have to be enforced to level the field so that it is at least moderately enjoyable for ALL ages.
