Heh Light got what was coming to him, Near really showed that demon man (He started out as such a good kid too, Well absolte power crupts absoltely) That is Devine Justice!! That’s what he gets for killing people so heartlessly…..More over L!! T_T That jerk… Well he’ll be in nothing forever and L is snacking in heaven ^_^ Long Live L!!
Thanks Near for putting an end to that monster!! *Cheers*

I actually cried… Beautiful anime. Time for the movies, I guess.
Good ending, despite what you people said. It sucks that Near won though, Near’s probably my least favourite character. Kira or L would be good, but the story is better this way, with a deeper meaning.
Bravo to Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata for the original manga, and it’s a brilliant adaptation by Madhouse. Thanks for translating this. ^_^

This anime is just beautiful. I bet at the end Misa jumped from that ledge because theres no reason for her to live for anymore if the love of her life is gone. I actually cried too its just so sad and yet so beautiful. I really wanted Misa and Light to get married they would have been a lovely couple and had sweet children maybe their son would take after their father. Seeing everyone dead or die and seeing his 17 year-old self really got to me. I think that L was haunting him ever since he heard about N.Its amazing that N, a little boy could surpass L an incredilbe. Im even surprised that they surpass Light. I know what Light did was wrong but its really said to see him go. Do you think what Light did was good or evil? And if you had a DeathNote what you do. Its also amazing that Matsuda that frady cat killed Light or at least shot him until he bleed to death, maybe he will have a chance with a woman some day …. (someday). This has got to be the best anime I have ever watched compared to Naruto So deep. I just hope the movie is better than the series.;(:!;<:D(:D::A

Wow… That actually choked me up a bit. =(
I knew Lighto-kun was gonna die… But, that’s not what I’m sad about. I mainly feel sorry for Misa-chan and Matsumodo. They were the ones that felt closest to him, especially Misa. Matsumodo had trusted Light as much as he had Light’s father, and to find something out like that from someone he doesn’t even know pretty much. Damn…
Definitely one of the best Animes I’ve seen in a good, long time. 9.5/10
